"Boost This Game" is BFL's community support system where fans financially back players in matchups. Each boost helps grow the culture, motivates players, and directly rewards performance, with funds shared between players and the BFL ecosystem.
Players can join by connecting with BFL through social media or WhatsApp. You may be invited to Open Runs or community sessions where your skill level is assessed before being placed into a suitable matchup.
Matchups are created based on player performance, skill level, height, and weight to keep games competitive and fair. In some cases, players can also challenge each other directly through BFL platforms.
BFL events are hosted in Cape Town at selected community and public venues, including Battery Park (V&A Waterfront) and Leonsdale Civic Centre, depending on the event schedule.
Players aged 14 and older can participate in BFL matchups and events. Younger players may still engage through community content and development opportunities when available.
