The Originals Stay Undefeated, Defeat Heideveld Ballers 51–40

The Originals continued their perfect run in the TheBattle3x3 league, defeating the Heideveld Ballers 51–40 on March 14, 2026. While many expected the Ballers to struggle against the undefeated Originals, they managed to stay competitive early before The Originals’ firepower eventually created separation.

The standout performance came from Lindsay Tainwirei, who delivered one of the most impressive shooting displays of the season. Lindsay finished with 21 points and knocked down seven three-pointers, setting a career-high from beyond the arc and giving the Originals a major offensive boost.

Sun Kalaya added 19 points, consistently attacking the defense and helping maintain the scoring pressure throughout the game. Themba Khumalo contributed 9 points, while Klambo Kingston added 2 points to round out the Originals’ scoring.

For the Heideveld Ballers, Sidney Sedunsta led the way with 17 points, fighting to keep his team within reach. Brian Nkwololo and Iwaz Kalenga each finished with 10 points, while Vicky Juries added 3 points.

Despite the Ballers’ effort, The Originals’ combination of perimeter shooting and offensive efficiency proved too much to handle.
